Shikhar Dhawan trolls Rishabh Pant after Kl Rahul fills his absence behind the stumps

Shikhar Dhawan trolls Rishabh Pant after Kl Rahul fills latter’s absence behind the stumps in the 2nd ODI game against Australia on Friday.

India faced a blow after Rishabh Pant was forced to withdraw his participation from the 2nd ODI game against Australia at Rajkot due to the concussion he faced in the 1t ODI match in Mumbai.

The protocols designed to prevent any long term damage made Pant sit out of the following game. This meant that Kl Rahul had to continue the charge behind the stumps in the must win game against the Aussies.

Rahul gave a glorious performance against Australia in both matches and hardly made an error with the gloves. Moreover, his brilliant knock of 80 runs helped India to give a staggering target to Australia.

Post-match, a video has surfaced where Shikhar Dhawan is seen pulling the leg of Pant while speaking to Rahul after the win. “Par aapki keeping dekh ke, Rishabh Pant jo flip marta hai, vo khada hogya ek dum se, kehta ki me thik hun yar.” (But after seeing your performance behind the stumps, Rishabh Pant has changed his mood, he stood up quickly and says that now he is fine”).

Pant and team administration has been massively criticized by the fans for giving innumerable opportunities to Pant, who has been poor most of the times.

Many have asserted to keep Kl Rahul as the wicket-keeping batsman instead of Pant in the limited over format, as he had made many mistakes in that department too

Now it remains to be seen whether Indian skipper Virat Kohli will keep the same line-up for the ODI in Bangalore, or will he include Pant back in the team considering he will be available for that match.
