Spider Man Miles Morales Easter Eggs : Marvel fans are happy to see that Spider-Man: Miles Morales comes with tributes to two of the MCU’s biggest stars- Stan Lee and Chadwick Boseman.
The tragic news of the passing of Chadwick Boseman was revealed back in August this year. The star played the much loved Black Panther character on the silver screen. He was ailing from Colon Cancer and was fighting a private battle. He continued to act in films like Black Panther, Da 5 Bloods, and more.
Marvel movies and Video games come with dozens of easter eggs and references. Spider Man: Miles Morales is no different. Eagle eyed fans were quick to spot tributes to Stan Lee and Chadwick Boseman.
The Bronze Statue of Stan Lee –
Stan Lee is the the comic book creator of Marvel and has acquired Legendary status among fans. Fans loved and looked forward to seeing cameos of Stan Lee in Marvel films and games.
In the Spider-Man game for PS4, Stan made a cameo as the owner of Mick’s diner. Miles Morales also includes a memorial. A Bronze statue of Stan Lee is located on the Upper West Side next to Mick’s Diner.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales pays tribute to Chadwick Boseman –
After completing the game in the credits, Insomniac included a touching tribute to Chadwick. A message appears that reads: “In loving memory of a noble king, Chadwick Boseman. His honor, strength, and compassion will reverberate for generations to come. Wakanda forever.” However this was not the only tribute as a reddit user called u/RollieDell who found a street is also named after Chadwick called Boseman Way.
The street in New York City is 42nd Street and can be located between 1st and 3rd street. The street is actually the 42nd Street. Fans are also appreciating using 42nd as it is a clear reference to Boseman’s first major film, 42.
The search for Easter eggs within a game is quite fun and there are quite a few of them. The inclusion of the the 3 Easter eggs in particular by Insomniac Games is indeed a very classy gesture.
