Waiting for an excellent final between #Velocity and #SuperNovas. It’s @M_Raj03 vs @ImHarmanpreet. Feeling sad for @mandhana_smriti. She played an awesome innings in the very first match. Bad luck for #Trailblazers. #WomensT20Challenge #SUPERNOVASvVELOCITY #IPL #VIVOIPL pic.twitter.com/OK7T8rRgYN

SUP vs VEL Dream 11 Prediction
Wicket-keeper for SUP vs VEL Dream 11
Sticking to the logic I used in the last match, Sushma Verma is the wicket-keeper in my team ahead of Taniya Bhatia considering Sushma’s experience and higher batting position. Both of them have not contributed much till now and Sushma Verma will be a better pick here.
Bowlers for SUP vs VEL
I have made a slight change in my strategy here as I am going in with 4 bowlers for this game. The reason is simple as all the matches so far have been low scoring and plenty of wickets have been picked up by the spinners. Expecting this trend to continue, I will be going in with 4 spinners here.

From Velocity, Ekta Bisht and Amelia Kerr are in my Dream 11 team. While Bisht has been in great form having picked up 2 wickets in 2 matches at an impressive economy rate of less than 6 runs an over, Amelia Kerr is having the tournament of her life with 4 wickets in 2 matches already. She has just conceded 6 runs an over and is a definite pick for this match.
Anuja Patil and Radha Yadav also make it to my team from the Supernovas team. They have been bowling well in tandem. They opened the bowling for Supernovas last night and made a huge impact in the powerplay overs by picking up early wickets.
Although, a bit expensive with the ball, Radha Yadav has picked 3 wickets so far and looks good for more in the final. Anuja Patil also has 2 wickets but her knack of dismissing batsmen in the initial overs makes her a huge asset in my team. Poonam Yadav is another bowler I did consider. However, due to Dream 11’s points system which is biased against bowlers, I could not afford to go in with 5 bowlers.
All-rounders for SUP vs VEL
I have gone in with 2 all-rounders for this match. Shikha Pandey, who is listed as an all-rounder here, will be my first pick. She has been terrific with the ball in the powerplay as well as the death and has been one of the few medium pacers who has been effective and has given away less than 4.5 runs an over and picked up a wicket every match. She can hit a few runs down the order as well.
I had to choose between Natalie Sciver and Sophie Devine here and I decided to go with the latter. Devine has been bowling pretty well but she hasn’t been rewarded appropriately with wickets. Maybe, she can change that in this match. She has also batted well in the first match and will look at play an important role at No. 5 if the top order fails. Sciver has not been batting too well or bowling 4 overs. Hence, Devine is a clear choice here.
Batswomen for SUP vs VEL
I have space for 4 batswomen and there are quite a few excellent contenders for these spots. Now, 3 batswomen pick themselves based on their amazing performances so far. Danielle Wyatt, with 89 runs in 2 matches and 2 40+ scores, has proved her consistency.
Bring her in as your captain as she is one of the most dependable performers. Jemimah Rodrigues is the next batswoman who was fantastic last night with a Man of the Match performance of 77* off just 48 balls with 10 fours and a six. Rodrigues is in superb touch and can hit the ball long and far.
She is the leading run-scorer in the tournament with 101 runs. She is in as the vice captain for this match. Harmanpreet Kaur showed her abilities in the first match when she almost took her team home from a tricky position. At No. 4, Kaur will play a very important role in the middle order. She needs to be in.
Now, I have 8 credits left and 1 spot to fill. My best option is to bring in Shafali Verma who was fantastic with the bat in the first match. The 15 year old scored so freely that it was a delight to watch the next generation of Indian cricket be so confident at such a young age. Let us hope she impresses us again.
