Sushma Swaraj responds to fans’ appeals of giving Rashid Khan Indian citizenship

Rashid Khan has been a revelation for SRH in IPL 2018 and fans have requested Sushma Swaraj to give him Indian citizenship.

Afghanistan leg spinner Rashid Khan has been sensational for the Hyderabad franchise in the IPL. In 16 matches, Rashid has picked 21 wickets in 16 matches and has turned games around on their head.

Lately, Rashid has also shown that he is a capable batsman and has the ability of scoring some quick runs with the bat. When he came up with an extraordinary all-round performance in the Qualifier 2 against KKR, fans went crazy for him.

Rashid first took SRH’s score to 144, blasting a 10-ball 34 and then came back to pick up 3 wickets while bowling economically. It was too much for the fans to handle as they requested Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj to grant him Indian citizenship.

Unexpectedly, Sushma Swaraj reverted from her official twitter handle to take part in the banter.

However, the tweet was deleted after a little while.
