Recently when Rafael Nadal was holidaying in Greece, he posed for a picture with some fans. After clicking the still, one of the fans asked the Spaniard whom does her prefer between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. To which, Rafa took the Argentine’s name.

Ronaldo Fans Unhappy With Rafael Nadal
Naturally, Cristiano’s fans were livid with Nadal for picking Messi over their star man. In the entire episode which was being recorded, two boys asked Rafa for a picture. To which, the Spaniard did oblige. While the picture was being clicked was when the moment arrived when one of the boys asked the 37-year-old that question.

Despite Nadal picking Messi over Ronaldo, he still maintained that he chooses Real Madrid over Barcelona. Both the clubs have are the biggest rivals in football. Their rivalry goes back to the 19th century. Since Messi represented Barcelona and Ronaldo for Madrid, it made the rivalry between both these clubs and players even more fierce.
Rafa has been a life long supporter of Madrid and he has never hid his love for the club. He and Ronaldo too have been friends over the years. They have shot a commercial too for Nike in the past. They have also attended each others matches, indicating that they do share a great rapport.
