The Last of Us will Also be Available on Steam Deck Along with the PC

The Last of Us Part 1 will also come to the latest Steam Deck near you, along with the PC. The news comes from Neil Druckmann.

It is safe to say that TLoU is getting a lot of press lately. With a potential TLoU 3 in the works, the HBO Series, and the release of the first game on the PC, The Last of Us fans are eating good.

If all this good news were not enough, the game would also be available on the Steam Deck, says the Naughty Dog Co-President Neil Druckmann. Let us break down the details.

The Steam Deck is like a mini PC supporting an AMD CPU and varying degrees of storage. Consider it a handheld console but with the power of a PC Setup. The Steam Deck took off due to its convenience. Due to it, TLoU will also grace the Steam Deck. It is compatible(doesn’t mean it will run well), convenient, and justifies the price of admission. Plus, it is a given for hardcore gamers who want to play the game on the go.

The devil’s in the details. However, we do not know how well it will support the game since there haven’t been any public tests. This remake will be a celebration for PC fans since they have asked for the masterpiece to be remade on PC for a while. The original was a work of art for the PS3, and many gamers have a lot of memories of it. It will be interesting to see what Naughty Dog does to keep its nostalgia alive. The Last of Us releases on the PC on March 3rd, 2023.
