It is not often that WWE indulges itself in anything other than than the wrestling stratosphere, unless of course it is American pop culture.

But in recent times, the World Wrestling Entertainment has shown a lot of interest in expanding its operations beyond its shores. A lot of time and money has been invested in the unexplored markets of China and India.
It is no secret that WWE has identified India as a huge market and appreciate the huge fan base that they have over there. WWE came to India last year and conducted a couple of hugely successful shows in New Delhi.

There is talk that the company would be coming to India again in September, which is something that people are eagerly looking forward to.
WWE famously congratulated Mumbai Indians on their IPL win a few months ago. This was followed by a promise that they would be sending a custom made WWE Championship belt to mark their success.

And Triple H has kept his promise, as he sent across a custom made belt with the Mumbai Indians logo attached to the title.
