Twitter reactions on India's win in 3rd T20I

Twitter reactions on India’s win in 3rd T20I: Twitter was elated at India drawing level the T20I series 1-1.

During the third T20I of the ongoing India’s tour of Australia at Sydney, India defeated Australia by six wickets to draw level the three-match ODI series 1-1. India’s victory came on the back of dominating performances from their spinners and the top-order.

India started brilliantly in the 165-run chase, scoring 67-1 in the powerplay. The opening pair of Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan added 67 off 33 balls to provide India with the best platforms.

While it seemed that India would cruise to victory post the powerplay, it wasn’t to be as the visitors lost three wickets within no time. While Rohit Sharma (23) yet again falling to a leg-spinner in Adam Zampa, Lokesh Rahul (12) and Rishabh Pant (0) became victims of poor shot selection.

It was a 60-run unbeaten partnership for the fifth wicket between captain Virat Kohli and Dinesh Karthik which sealed victory for India with a couple of balls remaining. In which another match-winning innings played by Kohli, he scored 61* (41) with the help of four fours and two sixes.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, Australia scored 164-6 in their allotted quota of 20 overs. Opening batsman D’Arcy Short was the pick of the Australian batsmen, scoring 33 (29) with the help of five fours. For the visitors, with bowling figures of 4-0-36-4, all-rounder Krunal Pandya was the highest wicket-taker.
