During the 50th match of the ongoing 12th season of the Indian Premier League between Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals at Chennai, Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni affected a couple of lightening-fast stumping dismissals.
The 37-year old put on display exceptional wicket-keeping skills within a span of three balls, something which all but kicked-out the visitors from the chase. Chasing a 180-run target, Delhi had already lost six wickets in 11 overs. What made matters worse for them was what happened in the 12th over.

In what was another instance of all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja dictating terms on a turning track, Jadeja was seen beating Chris Morris (0) and DC captain Shreyas Iyer (44) outside the off-stump. With both the right-hand batsmen slightly putting their foot in the air, the chance was seized by Dhoni.
While the Super Kings captain seemed confident of his glove-work, several replays confirmed that he had successfully stumped both the batsmen in a jiffy. The speed at which Dhoni affected the stumping dismissal forced everyone to be wax lyrical about him.
After Iyer won the toss and put the hosts in to bat, Chennai ended up scoring a formidable 179/4 in their allotted quota of 20 overs. Coming in to bat at No. 3, CSK vice-captain Suresh Raina top-scored for his team scoring 59 (37) with the help of eight fours and a six.
