Twitter slams Yuvraj Singh

Twitter slams Yuvraj Singh: Twitter expressed anger over the Indian all-rounder not participating in the Ranji Trophy.

Veteran India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh skipping the ongoing seventh round of the Ranji Trophy has created furore among fans on social media platform Twitter. No confirmation regarding Yuvraj missing the match has further created the stir.

Having made himself unavailable for the Punjab team in a bid to not deny a spot for a youngster, Yuvraj returned back to play three matches. With Yuvraj missing this match, there are murmurs of him taking part due to the recently concluded ahead of the IPL auction.

Having scored 78 runs at an average of 19.50 in three matches, Yuvraj put on display a dismal show for his state. Despite that, he was bought for INR 1 crore by Mumbai Indians in the second round after remaining unsold in the first one.

After Indians bid for him, Yuvraj received instant approbation by his fans and even his previous franchise in Kings XI Punjab for watching him remain unsold seemed to be too much for them. With a plentiful fan-following to his name, the sight of Yuvraj playing for his sixth IPL franchise appeared to go well with his fans.

Having said that, Yuvraj’s decision to not play the Ranji Trophy match against Hyderabad at Hyderabad gives the impression of backfiring at him for he has received a significant amount of flak for the same. Read some of the latest Twitter reactions on Yuvraj below:
