CSK and KXIP react on MI buying Yuvraj

CSK and KXIP react on MI buying Yuvraj: Post buying the Indian all-rounder, MI received heartening reactions from CSK and KXIP.

After remaining unsold in the first round of the recently concluded IPL auction at Jaipur, veteran India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh was eventually bought by three-time IPL Champions Mumbai Indians at his base price of INR 1 crore.

Going by Yuvraj’s recent form, him remaining unsold had many reasons to be justified. However, given his experience and stature, it was the same news had it in it to be disheartening for a plethora of his fans.

Once Yuvraj was unsold in the auction, social media platform Twitter didn’t seem to take the news well for people were of the opinion that it isn’t fair to the 37-year old cricketer.

After Yuvraj was bought by the Indians, there appeared to be an air of relief around the fans who desperately want to see him performing in the next year’s IPL.

Current IPL Champions Chennai Super Kings and Yuvraj’s previous franchise in Kings XI Punjab took to Twitter to share their respective message for the experienced campaigner. It is worth mentioning that the Super Kings had given a slight hint at buying Yuvraj in the auction but that wasn’t to be seen.
