The 5th day of the Ranchi Test hasn’t really lit up for the Indian side, but Jadeja provide everyone with the moment of the day as he cleaned up Steve Smith with a lovely ball that turned and gripped and flew past Smith’s pad to crash into the stumps.
With a lot of rough being created outside the leg stump for the right hander, Jadeja was constantly looking to hit that spot and Smith kept padding him away for most part of the morning session. But when you are not a natural at ‘padding’ the ball away, you sometimes find yourself in a tangle, something which Smith found the hard way.
While Smith was batting pretty confidently all through, he didn’t really judge the length well from Jadeja, didn’t reach the pitch of the ball with his pad and ultimately ended up giving up his wicket.
Jadeja got the ball to spin a long way from the rough, the ball missed Smith’s pads and took out his off pole.
Twitter absolutely loved Smith’s stumps falling all over the place and didn’t lose out on having a little fun of their own.
For a bowler who is at you all the time and doesn't do too much, Jadeja is very difficult to leave. Smith not the first. Could be the match.

Before we call Steve Smith names, remember batsmen get tired too. Can lead to misjudgement.

Smith mocks Kohli again by leaving a straight ball.
