Jake Paul has recently announced that he will be joining PFL as an MMA fighter. After shaking up things in the boxing world, Paul is confident of doing the same at PFL. Moreover, this will help him build a more excellent foundation for his goal of better fighter pay across all combat sports.
In a video released by Jake Paul where he announced his move to MMA, he revealed that he had offered a two-fight deal to Nate Diaz which includes a boxing fight first and then an MMA bout. While Diaz is yet to respond to the challenge, a former UFC champion was quick to put his name forward for the same.

As mentioned earlier, Jake Paul has issued a challenge to Nate Diaz, however, he is yet to hear back from him. In the meantime, former UFC champion Anthony Pettis has made it known that he will be happy to welcome ‘The Problem Child’ to MMA if Diaz is not available.
Anthony Pettis took to Twitter in an attempt to make a case for himself for a bout against Jake Paul and said: “Welcome to the PFL @jakepaul. More than happy to welcome you to MMA’s league if Nate isn’t available”

While Anthony Pettis has put his name forward for a potential fight against Jake Paul, ‘The Problem Child’ is yet to respond and it remains to be seen whether or not Paul agrees to fight Pettis if Nate Diaz isn’t available or not.

‘The Problem Child’ has been quite successful in his boxing run so far. While he has yet to fight a legitimate pro boxer, Paul has shown much improvement over the past three years.

While MMA is a completely different sport, his background in wrestling can prove to be an advantage for the 25-year-old. That said, it will be interesting to see if Jake Paul can have the same impact in MMA as he has done in boxing over the last few years.
