Former UFC Welterweight title challenger Jake Shields is up to his antics once again stirring controversy on the social media platform Twitter. Shields has been an outspoken personality since his arrival into the sport of mixed martial arts. During the primitive years of the sport since the start of the 21st century, Shields and the ‘scrapak’ have made names for themselves due to their vociferous characters.
The 43-year-old has been an advocate against the COVID vaccine since news of its arrival broke out. Regarded as the ‘Common Flu’ by Shields, the American has made it clear that he has no time for the ‘conspiracy theory’ surrounding the virus.
As such, Shields, whenever the opportunity presents itself, takes aim at those who have administered the vaccine and those who advocated the use of it. Especially Anthony Fauci.
The former chief medical advisor to the president has been slated by Shields and his allies.

Anthony Fauci rose to prominence in 2020 for his valuable insights on how to tackle the viral COVID disease. Fauci provided advice on measures to be taken, rules to be followed, and so on and so forth.
A great many have paid heed to his advice, and have taken the appropriate actions required to safeguard them from COVID. However, those that dislike his guidance have slandered him on numerous occasions. This includes Jake Shields.
Taking to his Twitter, Shields has facetiously stated that Fauci was the villain in the critically acclaimed Oscar movie, Dallas Buyers Club.
Shields said:
“The majority of American still don’t know Fauci was the villain in Dallas Buyers club. I know because that piece of shit killed my cousin”
Shields’ statements directly attribute to his previous comments on Fauci as well. His hatred of the American doctor has been ongoing for a while now. His statement comes after the Tesla CEO Elon Musk posted a tweet about releasing the ‘Fauci Files’ on Twitter recently.
What is Jake Shields up to?
The recent statements made by Shields are just the latest of the issues surrounding the former two-weight world champion. Shields recently made the headlines for all the wrong reasons, when he assaulted former UFC fighter, Mike Jackson.
Shields approached Jackson concerning certain statements made by the former Welterweight insinuating that Shields is a Na*i and a racist. The American came across Jackson at the UFC performance center, before mounting him and slapping him.
Jackson is reportedly intending to sue Shields for his actions. As things stand, 2023 will not be looking too grand for the former mixed martial artist.
