Joe Rogan is one of the most distinguished figures in the sport of mixed martial arts. During its formative years, Rogan was an integral factor in guiding the UFC to stardom, as his reputation as a standup comic helped in garnering the attention of his supporters.
And he has since been a staple of the fighting promotion, burdening the responsibilities of being a commentator and post-fight interviewer, amongst other significant duties. Rogan eventually leveraged his position to kick start a podcast, which, following a decade, has become a massive success.
With that being said, it’s well worth noting that Rogan’s presence isn’t utilized for every fight night that the UFC presents. In fact, due to his valuation as an opulent commodity, the American is reserved only for special attractions. Such as the UFC’s monthly pay-per-view.
And since Dana White and the UFC have without fail delivered a PPV every month for the past two decades, Rogan’s presence s limited to 12 appearances, barring any discrepancies. But just how much does he make off these displays?

Joe Rogan’s UFC contract!
As his appearances are chartered for the pay-per-view events, Rogan makes a substantial amount for being a pivotal member of the commentary panel alongside Jon Anik and Daniel Cormier.
Rogan is reportedly paid an average sum of $50000 for every appearance he makes on the commentary desk for the UFC. Which brings his total earnings to an estimated $600,000 annually.
While the general supporters may be of the opinion that it’s unwarranted, given that numerous fighters are remunerated less than half the amount, Rogan’s merit must not be downplayed.
After all, he was a member of the MMA promotion, prior to Dana White and the Fertitta brothers’ arrival. He has etched himself into the record books for his role in promoting the fight game.

Joe Rogan’s 2023 obligations!
As the first pay-per-view of the new year approaches fast, the pertinent question in the minds of a number of supporters is will Joe Rogan be on the commentary desk?
The answer is no. Since the pay-per-view is scheduled to occur in Brazil, Rogan’s responsibilities will be handled by a replacement that is yet to be decided.
The host of the JRE podcast had decided a few years ago that he had no intention to endure the strenuous travel obligations required to cover the UFC events abroad. Given that the following PPV is in Australia, the earliest we might see Rogan is perhaps in March.
Nonetheless, we speak for everybody when we say that we can’t wait to have the 55-year-old back! The excitement he brings alongside Cormier and Anik is unparalleled.
