Andrew Tate, the former professional kickboxer, struggled to cement his presence on social media. The 36-year-old faced several bans from major social media platforms because of his comments on women and other aspects of society. However, Tate aka ‘Cobra’ was reincarnated on Twitter last year. This apparently happened after the South African billionaire Elon Musk bought the platform. But it wasn’t Musk who brought him back. As per reports, Musk changed several policies on Twitter, including that of freedom of expression. Therefore, it benefitted Tate. In a similar way, former US president Donald Trump also got his Twitter account back last year.

Ever since then, the former professional kickboxer has gained over six million followers on his account. It also seems like Tate has gained a liking for Musk and his online policies. Thus, he mocked Musk’s rival recently.

Twitter is receiving heavy backlash ever since Musk changed its policies. One of which is paying for keeping a blue tick. This isn’t sitting well with many people. Thus, the former CEO of Twitter Jack Dorsey launched Bluesky for Android.

In some aspects, Bluesky’s user interface is similar to Twitter’s. It has a plus button that, when pressed, allows users to publish up to 256 characters. Bluesky asks, ‘What’s up?’ similar to Twitter’s ‘What’s happening?’ Additionally, Bluesky intends to let users design their own filters and labels.

However, the former professional kickboxer seemed unimpressed by it. While reacting to Bluesky’s news on Twitter, Tate wrote, “Wait.. so its twitter, but I cant say what I want AND I get banned?? SIGN ME UP!!!!”

It is very evident that Tate wouldn’t leave Twitter for its freedom policies, as the new social media platform won’t tolerate his blunt views. Similarly, Tate is banned from YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, and other streaming platforms. Thus, he streams on Rumble and has also signed a deal with the platform worth millions.

Tate claimed to buy BuzzFeed News

A prominent news outlet, BuzzFeed News, is currently facing a decline. According to reports, BuzzFeed News may be closing down and letting go of 15% of its workforce in order to reduce costs across the board.

After noticing the news about BuzzFeed, Andrew Tate offered to buy the outlet. Not only that, he and his younger brother Tristan Tate mocked the news company in a series of Twitter posts.

BuzzFeed apparently did a few articles on Andrew Tate giving insight into his life, past, and business. They also covered a bit dark side of the controversial social media influencer. Thus, the Tate brothers might have just poked fun at BuzzFeed by claiming to buy.

What are your thoughts on Andrew Tate’s offering to buy BuzzFeed? What do you guys think about his post for Dorsey?
