Conor McGregor made a startling tweet on Thursday. Speculations and Popular opinions suggest he is referring to Manny Pacquiao. Dana White however, has a definite answer, but is he correct?

Conor McGregor is retired, but speculations about his return are ever rife. On Thursday, the Irishman Tweeted “I Accept” and left the MMA community on the tenterhooks, with this unclear, yet unwavering message. In the recent weeks, Khamzat Chimaev, a new promising prospect, who has rose to fame with his quick turnaround victories, and Tony Ferguson, an old guard, who has been a clear favorite to go against Conor, for quite some time now, have both mentioned the Notorious One through different platforms, and have expressed intentions to fight him. So, did the “I Accept” tweet came in consideration of these challenges?

On Friday, Dana White gave a blatant answer to this rising query, and placed Chimaev as the subject of McGregor’s post.

Dana White purportedly cleared the confusion, but later Ariel Helwani, one of the most trusted UFC journalists, came up with a contradicting statement, that said;

With Conor McGregor, everything is uncertain except for the drama. And the greatest showman in the UFC history, has continued the conundrum, with another similar tweet, but this time with a different dialect. Conor McGregor, has again tweeted “I Accept”, this time in Filipino.

With Filipino language, maybe he is referring to Manny Pacquiao, who is from Philippines. In the January month of this year, the 32-year-old said about entering the boxing ring again. He then mentioned Manny, and said there have been talks about a potential fight.
