Joe Rogan, the UFC color commentator, has frequently discussed Covid Vaccines on his popular podcast The Joe Rogan Experience. He has even received harsh criticism for this. Spotify made a $200 million deal with Rogan to air the show on their platform. JRE, since has made a global fan following, making it one of the most popular series on the streaming service. Despite his massive following, the 55-year-old never shies away from sharing his honest thoughts with prominent people that appear on his show.
Rogan recently discussed vaccinations with special guest Robert R. Kennedy Jr. As a result, Dr. Peter Hotez, a top vaccine researcher engaged in the development of Corbevax (a COVID vaccine), chastised the UFC announcer.
Following that, the JRE host called Hotez to confront him on his popular program. Not only that, but Rogan offered $100,000 for a charity of Hotez’s choice if he accepted the challenge. Surprisingly, South African billionaire Elon Musk supported Rogan’s dare.

Joe Rogan has frequently stated his opposition to Covid Vaccines. Many individuals have come out in support of him. However, not everyone agrees with the 55-year-old podcast host. One of them appears to be Dr. Peter Hotez.
Hotez took to his official Twitter account after Rogan’s episode with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. aired to call them out for promoting disinformation. He also rebuked Spotify for failing to take action against outlets that spread false information.

Soon, Rogan responded to Hotez’s tweet and invited him to his show to discuss the same. He also offered hefty money to spend on charity for the same. Replying to the tweet Rogan said:
“Peter, if you claim what RFKjr is saying is “misinformation” I am offering you $100,000.00 to the charity of your choice if you’re willing to debate him on my show with no time limit.”
Elon Musk Responds to Joe Rogan’s Challenge
After the feud went viral, Twitter CEO Elon Musk appeared to have enjoyed Rogan’s response. He replied to it with a fire emoji. And in a later tweet, Musk took a sly dig at Hotez, stating he hates charity.
Responding to Rogan’s challenge, Hotez asked Rogan to contact him personally, since he had his contact details. However, Rogan demanded to keep the conversation public and refused his request.

Surprisingly, the South African billionaire Musk got involved in the conversation and suggested that Hotez was afraid to accept the challenge. He wrote:
“He’s afraid of a public debate, because he knows he’s wrong.”
The debate appears to have gone too far now that important figures are getting involved. After Rogan issued the dare, even Robert F. Kennedy Jr. called out Hotez. Hotez, on the other hand, has yet to comment on Rogan and Musk’s new tweets. As a result, we’ll have to wait and see what happens next.
