'He (Khabib Nurmagomedov) and I are going to get together and meet soon'- Dana White On the Status of the Lightweight Belt

Following Khabib Nurmagomedov’s recent claim that he does not plan to come back, Dana White threw light on how he in-turn plans on tackling this situation.

Ever since he announced his retirement at UFC 254, Khabib has reiterated a number of times that there is no motivation left for him to return. However, him being still in the testing pool and remaining as the current Pound-For-Pound No.1, there are healthy speculations whether he really intends to stay away from the Octagon.

Moreover, what gives more relevance to these speculations is his manager Ali Abdelaziz, who has been intermittently campaigning for 30-0. A coveted mark which the Eagle is only one short of attaining.

Therefore, when he recently made an outright assertion that any buzz about his come back is only a rumor, skeptical minds did not get convinced. And in the wake of that UFC president Dana White has revealed how he is going to approach this situation.
