The excitement is real for all the UFC fans around the world as we have entered the fight week. UFC 288 is just a few days away from us. It’s the return of one of the greatest fighters in the sport. Henry Cejudo will return after a 3-year layoff to face Aljamain Sterling for the 135-pound title. The fight will decide who the best bantamweight in the world is. Henry Cejudo is an Olympic gold medalist, was a 125-pound champion and simultaneously held the 135-pound championship as well. With such impressive feats, fans might wonder what Henry Cejudo’s record is and who has he lost to in the UFC.

Henry Cejudo has taken on the coaching role since he retired from the UFC. His coming out of retirement had to be for something big and here we are a few days away from the fight.

Henry Cejudo record: Who Has Triple C lost to in the UFC?

Henry Cejudo has an amazing record of 16 wins and 2 losses in his professional career. All his wins are against the top athletes and fighters in the UFC. He retired from the UFC after holding two belts simultaneously as he was the 125-pound champ and the 135-pound champion.

Triple C’s first loss in the UFC was against the GOAT Demetrious Johnson back at UFC 197. Mighty Mouse looked unbeatable during those times and that’s what happened. Henry Cejudo came up short as Might Mouse won via KO/TKO in round 1 of the fight.

As this setback was something Henry Cejudo was trying to deal with, he faced another loss in his career. Cejudo lost to Joseph Benavidez on December 3, 2016. The fight went on for 3 rounds, but the split decision victory was given to Benavidez.

As we know, the king of Cringe is nothing but a winner, he came back stronger than ever. Even though 2016 was the year of couple of losses to henry Cejudo, he came back with vengeance. Triple C never lost a fight after 2016 in the UFC till date.

What’s next for Henry Cejudo?

As we enter the fight week, fans are now wondering about the result of the fights. With results comes the question of what’s next? If Cejudo is able to beat Aljamain Sterling to win the 135-pound championship, will he go up a weight class?

Triple C has already shown interest in fighting Alexander Volkanovski for the 145-pound title. Volkanovski would be a tall order for Henry Cejudo. If at all we know anything about Cejudo, it is his heart and his ability to win fights even when he is struggling to perform.

If Henry Cejudo loses, then the road becomes a questionable one in the UFC. He might also go back to coaching, as he has helped many athletes. Jon Jones, Weili Zhang, Demetrious Johnson and many more have trained with Henry Cejudo in recent years.

What are your predictions for UFC 288?
