"He's not leaving the cage physically able to fight in October"- Gerald Meerschaert Issues Warning For Khamzat Chimaev

Gerald Meerschaert issues warning for Khamzat Chimaev. The two are in talks to go up against each other on September 19.

The new custodian of UFC’s Smesh factory, Khamzat Chimaev is set to return to the Octagon, and may step into the ring in September itself. According to reports, Chimaev may go up against Gerald Meerschaert on September 19, and if wins the bout, then a possible clash with Damian Maia would be set-up at the Fight Island.

Khamzat Chimaev has already modified the record books, when in July, he became the first fighter in the current era to register two victories in a span of 10 days. His fight mentality often gets appreciated by president Dana White himself.
