‘I think that kid is ready for anything’: Dana White Hails Marvin Vettori’s Dominant Victory Over Jack Hermansson
Dana White is all praise for Marvin Vettori. The Italian defeated Jack Hermansson at UFC Vegas 16.
Marvin Vettori, who filled the vacant main event spot of UFC Vegas 16 just a week before its scheduled date, cut out a sharp and focused figure at the event and secured a unanimous victory over the fourth ranked Middleweight fighter Jack Hermansson.
The 27-year-old was given the favorite’s tag by the odds. In the fight right from the outset he looked to imply authority over his Swedish opponent and upon gaining he carried the momentum till the end.

Dana White On Marvin Vettori’s Performance at UFC Vegas 16
Considering his win came over the Joker, who is one of the frontrunners for the title shot, Dana White has hailed Marvin Vettori’s efforts and stated that he is ready for anything.
Vettori currently holds 13th place in the Middleweight rankings and after this outing he is certain to rise-above-the-ranks. In the post-event presser, Dana White also touched upon this subject and expressed his praise for Vettori.
“I think he breaks into the top-5 with this one.” White said. “First Italian to ever do it, it’s a big deal. It was an important fight in that division and I’m excited for him. I think that kid is ready for anything.”

Interim Middleweight Title
While the division’s champion Israel Adesanya might be making an excursion in the Light Heavyweight weight class, there are speculations on whether the 185-pound division needs an interim title.
Since Israel Adesanya and Jan Blachowicz is targeted for the first quarter of 2021, a fight for the Interim title might not be the worst idea. Given, if UFC goes ahead with it indeed.

With Robert Whittaker seemingly the No.1 contender and Paulo Costa campaigning for a UFC 253-rematch the division is event-filled. Moreover, now with the emergence of Marvin Vettori contenders are beginning to pile-up. And thus, to zero-down-on one individual while the champ is not available to defend the prestigious gold, introduction of the interim title would apparently keep the division running.
