“I want him to see his blood”- Justin Gaethje Hints a Bloody Fight Against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 254
The battle before the ultimate fight is apparently on, as Justin Gaethje hints a bloody fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 254.
The fight that every MMA enthusiast wants to see is precisely a month away. And in the build-up period, Justin Gaethje has indirectly sent an intimidating message to his UFC 254 opponent, the reigning Lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Gaethje, who became the No.1 contender and the interim champion after beating Tony Ferguson at UFC 249, is seemingly eager to get in the ring with Nurmagomedov, and do what 28 others have failed to do i.e., get a victory over him, and end his undefeated streak. In line with that, “The Highlight” is apparently ready, and in a recent interview expressed his intentions to draw blood out of “The Eagle’s” skin.
“I want him to see his blood, and I want To See His reaction”
In a chat with ESPN, Justin Gaethje, 22-2, who is known for his hard-hitting ability, confidently puts forth his intent, to make Khabib see his blood, and in process capture his reaction. “I know I will see his blood. So, I want him to see his blood, and I want to see his reaction.” Justin further said, “I think he’s crazy and he loves competition, but I don’t think he’s quite as crazy as me and he hasn’t seen his blood very many times I’m sure. His style of fighting is not something where you are looking for blood or anything like that. It’s never even – I bet that doesn’t even cross his mind, whether he’s going to see his own blood or not see his own blood. That’s never been a factor for him.” He also stated ,”I don’t think he’s as crazy as me, and I’m not sure what it’ll be, but I’m pretty sure he’s gonna freak out a little bit.”
So, with this statement, it is clear that on October 24, there will be a spectacle to witness for the fans, as they will become a testament of how Khabib Nurmagomedov will defend the heavy strikes of Justin Gaethje, and how Gaethje will handle the superior grappling prowess of Nurmagomedov.
