Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager Ali Abdelaziz takes a swipe at Jon Jones and Jorge Masvidal after the pair’s pay dispute with UFC president Dana White.
UFC head honcho Dana White has had a very public falling out with two of his biggest stars, Jon Jones and Jorge Masvidal regarding their contracts. The pair believe that they are not getting compensated fairly for their efforts in the octagon and feel they deserve more than what they receive now.
Both Masvidal and Jones have threatened to quit the UFC if their demands aren’t met. White however, has revealed they still have 8 fights left in their contracts that they renewed last year. Former UFC fighter Gary Maynard criticized the promotion for holding their fighter’s hostage with such lengthy contracts. However, Ali Abdelaziz had a different point of view.

Ali said that the fighters signed the contracts off their own free will, knowing fully well the consequences. He also revealed that none of his fighters were under an 8-fight deal.
“It’s up to us to sign 8 fight deal or not? None of my fighters under an 8 fight deal,” Ali wrote on Twitter.
