Through his YouTube channel, Gilbert Burns also shared his views on the upcoming fight between Leon Edwards and Khamzat Chimaev. Noting down the experience and the current ranking, many observers and analysts think Leon Edwards will eventually get the better of Khamzat but, Burns carries a different opinion. In the video, Durinho stated that he thinks Khamzat will beat Leon.
Moreover, the 34-year-old is of the idea that Khamzat’s ethnicity (Chechen) gives him an edge over Leon. Burns, says fighters from Rio, Dagestan, and Chechnya, will always stand out in this sport.
Burns also added, while Chimaev is still fairly new in UFC but, he has a bright future in the promotion, and in the coming year could compete against him (Gilbert Burns) as well.
