One fight which had a polarising reaction over its finish at UFC 251 was of Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway’s. The match went down to the wire, and was eventually won by Volkanovski.

After the encounter, several opinions established about the finish of the Featherweight bout, and some enthusiasts even called it a robbery. More fuel was added to the matter, when the president of UFC Dana White himself expressed his disappointment over the judges’ decision.

What’s Next For Max Holloway?

On being asked whether a third clash between Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway will be on the cards, that too when Alexander Volkanovski is 2-0 up, Dana White did not gave a concrete answer (Refer to the video above).

With UFC 251 just culminated, it would be difficult to predict Holloways’ next fight, however his impressive display at 251, and his significant MMA record of 21-5, and adding another factor which he often himself highlights i.e., he is  28 and healthy, only hints at one thing, viz. a great future ahead.
