Rocky via Brett Okamota of ESPN, expressed his views on the match-up and conveyed his message for Jorge Masvidal. He said “Stop being a P—Y and f—in’ let’s fight, right? You say you are street Jesus and you’re BMF, let’s prove the case. You can’t go out there and fight a guy you just f—in’ battered for three rounds and then do it again and say you’re the BMF. That’s not how it works, so stop being a p—y and step up”

Nate Diaz Was Not Amused By Leon Edwards’ Words

These words by the 29-year-old may have triggered Nate Diaz, as indirectly he featured Diaz when he referred, “You can’t go out there and fight a guy you just f—in’ battered for three rounds and then do it again.”

And so, Nate Diaz in return fired shots at Edwards. The Stockton Slugger took to twitter to give Leon a piece of his mind, he even seemingly brought Khabib Nurmagomedov in the picture, and stated “You got fucked up in the back for acting like you were tight. This fight shit is the same everyw(h)ere, in or out of the cage… don’t get punked ever. That goes for kabob also, you guys are in last place now lol.”

Why Leon Edwards Is Critical Of Jorge Masvidal?

Leon Edwards is 18-3 in MMA, and is a carrier of an 8-match undefeated streak. Yet, he is not in the Welterweight Title frame, however according to speculations he needs a headliner fight and register a win to elevate his stature. And hence that’s why he is calling out Jorge Masvidal. Leon Edwards apparently wants to indulge in a fight with him, to complete first of the two steps.
