Sean O’Malley, who was the person of interest before UFC 252, is now facing flak over his first round loss to Marlon Vera, at UFC 252.
SugaSean, who with his immense confidence, unique antics, and colorful hair came under the spotlight, is now experiencing the backside of his actions. Sean O’Malley lost his bout at UFC 252 in the first round following a horrible ankle injury. The injury is not covering up his loss, as the naysayers have erupted and not letting go of the fighter’s flop show.

What Happened in The Match?
Sean O’Malley twisted his ankle in the first round, following which Marlon Vera made the most of his opponent’s plight and scored an immediate TKO victory.

After the match, Sean was seen on a stretcher, through which he was taken out.

Sean O’Malley has a history of number of injuries, and as of now there is no update regarding this one.
Sean O’Malley receiving Criticism
Before the fight Sean O’Malley was quite vocal and confident about his potential victory, he was so over the top that comparisons with Conor McGregor began to pop up. However, on the day he could not implement his plan, and as a consequence is now at the receiving end of criticism.
After the loss, fellow Bantamweights Cody Garbrandt and Henry Cejudo criticized the 25-year-old, by taking a jibe at him.

Sean O’Malley’s Response After The Fight
Sean O’Malley took to twitter to post a short message, which said “Love Y’all”.

The fighter is 25 and is still young, and one loss may not change his position as one of the top future prospects.
