UFC December 26: Are there any UFC matches on December 26?
While it was touted that with UFC Vegas 17, the promotion would call it a year but, is there is still something on offer. Is there a fight night this week?
The answer to that is a resounding NO. Indeed December 19 was the last recognized fight night of the year. However, with the conduct of 41 events in-total, the promotion has rendered non-stop action since May, and this week though there might be no live-action but, as they say, the action never ceases in the mind of an enthusiast, therefore, this week, on Saturday or in other words, on the designated fight day, a celebration should be done in the name of UFC.
In the perilous year, when the chips were down, it was UFC who pioneered and brought the entire sporting world back to its feet. Dana White’s obstinate stance and the desire to turn adversity into opportunity introduced the sport to new audiences, which in turn elevated the popularity stats of UFC, and the butyrate per Pay-Per-View increased.
The fighters also got their due as many new performers became breakout stars and in the absence of some widely recognized fighters, a few exceptional participants became household names.
