UFC Fight Night Weigh-in Results: Who Missed Out, and Face-offs

The pre-event formalities of UFC Fight Island 3, viz. UFC Fight Night weigh-in results are out, and the face-offs, are now complete. The event is set to take place on July 25, 2020. 

UFC Fight Island 3 will be the fourth-successive event at Yas Island, and carries an exciting Fight card, with the main event being Robert Whittaker Vs. Darren till. Before the ultimate judgement day, the fighters went through the compulsory UFC Fight Night Weigh-in segment, on Friday.

UFC Fight Night Weigh-in Results: Who Made it, Who Misses out?

Out of the 30-fighters who were weighed, 29 successfully passed the hurdle. However, Francisco Trinaldo. who will be up against Jai Herbert, at the very night, measured a notch up in the Lightweight Category. The 41-year-old Brazilian’s official weight came out to be 160 lbs, which is 4 units more than the defined benchmark.

UFC Fight Night Face-offs

After the UFC Fight Night Weigh-in, it was the turn of Face-offs. Where Khamzat Chimaev came out as an entertaining figure, as the fighter made a fake takedown attempt on Rhys Mckee.

Here’s a look at the cheeky act of the Swede.

The main event between Robert Whittaker and Darren Till, is a much anticipated fight. And in the Face-offs the two fighters gave a glimpse of their determination, with a staredown.
