Valorant Americas has given us banger matches so far, including the first 13-0 victory in yesterday’s match which pitted EG against LOUD. EG put up a great fight against the World Champions and almost defeated them in Haven. However, LOUD proved why they are the Champions in the first place. Today we have NRG taking on KRU, both have had a form slump in this tournament. Let us break down everything we know.

In their previous matches, NRG had good strategies and outstanding individual plays. They are doing almost everything correctly, yet they cannot make the magic that OpTic could produce. KRU on the other hand have great individual plays and set strats, they get extremely unlucky sometimes. They lost all matches they played in this competition and all of them were really close matches.
In terms of head-to-head competition, this will mark the first time either team will face the other. Although, the OpTic core has faced KRU once and has beaten them 2-0 in Masters Reykjavik. However, this is a much different team with changed players and newer strategies. Let us check out the potential line-up for both teams.
KRU Esports
- Keznitdeus
- Melser
- Klaus
- Daveeys
- Nagzet
NRG Esports
- Ardiis
- FiNESSE
- Som
- Crashies
- Victor
Given the fundamentals of these teams, NRG should be able to win the match 2-1 or 2-0. However, counting KRU out even though they have lost all of their matches would be overzealous. That is why, we believe that KRU has the potential to beat NRG. NRG is at the 8th spot on the Points Table while KRU is at the last spot. It is a must-win game for both teams but for different reasons.
NRG wants to win to get out of their form slump while KRU wants to register their first win in VCT Americas. If KRU wins this, it will not only be an upset but they could jump two spots and take NRG’s position depending on the round variable and map count.
