Valorant: Beta reveals a new Game Mode which is shorter than Unrated
Valorant Beta reveals Swiftplay, a new game mode that is shorter and a more condensed Unrated for casual players.
Unrated is considered a pass time for casual players who do not play the game daily. But even a 30-minute Unrated is a lot of time for people who want to experience Valorant casually. To cure that, Riot has developed a new game mode to help those casual players squeeze in some fun without committing to an Unrated game. The new game mode is named SwiftPlay and is a shorter Unrated game. Let us look at the details.

Swiftplay is the New Game Mode for Valorant
Swiftplay will play exactly as an Unrated game lasts as long as a Spike Rush, which is what most Valorant fans were asking for. The game mode will have a four-round half, with the winners being the first to reach five rounds. There are multiple stipulations to bomb plants and pistols as well.
There will be a single Spike Carrier, just like Unrated. The starting credits for the rounds are as follows:
- Round 1 – 800
- Round 2 – 2400
- Round 3 – 4250
- Round 4 – 4250
The weapons and credits WILL carry over to the other rounds in the game, and there is a 600-credit bonus for winning the pistol round. The spike plant and kill bonus will be standard, i.e., 300 and 200 credits, respectively. The players will receive 2 Ult points at the start of each half.
There will be sudden death over time in case there is a tie. The estimated game time will be 15 minutes, exactly half of Unrated. The game mode will be available for players from December 6th to January 10, 2023. It is unknown whether Riot plans to keep the game mode in the playlist. It will all depend upon the response of the players.
