Yesteryear’s superstar, Vinod Kambli advises Kohli to learn from Pakistan, ahead of India’s do or die match against South Africa on Sunday. India’s loss to Sri Lanka yesterday has blown the group apart, with one of India or South Africa almost guaranteed to miss out on the semi final stage.

India and South Africa were the overwhelming favorites from this group, as nobody gave either Pakistan or Sri Lanka a chance. But the underdogs showed a lot of character to beat their much fancied opponents and ensured two virtual quarter final matches.

Virat Kohli must be wondering where it went all wrong for his side. At the half way stage of their match against Sri Lanka, he must have been pretty confident of booking a spot in the semi-finals. Riding on Shikhar Dhawan’s majestic hundred and a pair of half centuries from Rohit and Dhoni, India amassed their second consecutive 300+ score in the tournament.

But the likes of Jadeja, Yadhav and Pandya were surprisingly ineffective, as the Sri Lankan batsmen chased down the huge target with consummate ease.

And now, Vinod Kambli has given some advice to Kohli and his team.

India cannot afford to make any mistakes in their match against South Africa. Both teams will be geared up for the match, as it is a virtual knockout game. Kohli vs De Villers again !
