After he seemingly injured his shoulder in the third test match in Ranchi he was vilified by the Australian media for his overtly aggressive on field actions.
Things went up a notch when the Aussie media compared Kohli with the controversial US President Donald Trump likening the two as people who do stuff as they please without any fear of the consequences for their actions.
Kohli got support from many people most notably Amitabh Bachchan. The legendary actor tweeted in support of the Indian captain which caught plenty of eyeballs in the press. (Virat Kohli hits back at the Australian Media !)
Now Virat himself has responded to these unsavory remarks about himself.
“I have always stuck by the right things. Always done the right thing, always said what I wanted to because I feel it is right. I have no regrets about it. I have nothing to go back and change. The only thing — I am surprised so many people are getting affected by just one individual, so good luck to them. If it’s selling their news, good luck to them,” Kohli said at the pre-match media conference.

If they (Australian media) want to write something good or bad, it’s your own personal choice. I am not going to sit here and say write good things about me or bad things about me. It’s your own choice. Everyone has their own conscience to sleep with at night and same applies for everyone,” he added. (Virat Kohli hits back at the Australian Media !)
The four match series is tied at 1-1 with one more test match to be played.
