Virat Kohli's birthday wish for Narendra Modi

Virat Kohli’s birthday wish for Narendra Modi: Indian captain wishes the Prime Minister of the country on his birthday.

Virat Kohli, captain of the Indian cricket team, took to Twitter to wish Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 68th birthday. Twitter has been filled with birthday wishes for our Prime Minister since morning.

Kohli’s tweet came a couple of hours ago when he became yet another Indian cricketer to express his heartiest feelings for the Prime Minister.

Given rest from the Asia Cup squad, Kohli will enjoy a relieving break which has come into play citing his heavy workload in mind. With the Test series against West Indies starting in the first week of October, he is likely to be back on the road again.

Kohli had completed the recently concluded tour of England as the highest run-scorer in the Test series. Despite the team losing 1-4 under him, Kohli ended up scoring 593 runs in five matches at an average of 59.30 and a strike rate of 57.85.

Among the other Indian cricketers who wished the Prime Minister on his birthday were Sourav Ganguly, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina, VVS Laxman etc. Watch the other tweets below:
