The latest Warzone 2.0 Season 4 meta brings back a couple of underrated weapons into the limelight like the SO-14 and the TAQ-V. JGOD, one of the most well-known content creators showed us that ISO 45 is the absolute meta in Warzone 2.0.
The Season 4 patch of the game brought us lots of changes in the meta and two new weapons which have lots of potential. Among them, ISO 45 has taken over the game’s meta. A lot of people are noticing it more and more as people are starting to unlock it in the game.
The Lachmann Sub is the gun’s only rival. Otherwise, it is undoubtedly the best SMG in its class, claims Warzone 2.0 guru, JGOD. This article will showcase why the gun is so good and we will also build a perk and equipment setup that perfectly complements the attachment he uses.

Warzone 2.0 Guru says the ISO 45 is the Best SMG in the Current Meta
JGOD is one of the most prominent content creators for Warzone 2.0. He has some of the best analyses of weapons before, during, and after meta changes. Quite recently he addressed the newest Season 4 patch notes and armor changes and gave an observation on how weapons would work after he ran an analysis of the data.
He came to the conclusion that the long-range and the short-range TTK of the weapons after the armor change had drastically changed due to the shift in the meta and the armor patches. He also compared the latest ISO 45 SMG to the other prominent ones like the Vaznev-9K and the Lachmann Sub. In that comparison, he explained why players currently should prioritize using the ISO 45 over other weapons.
Comparing the ISO 45 to Other Weapons
JGOD compared the newest ISO 45 to already established meta weapons like the Vaznev-9K, the MX9, and the Lachmann Sub. As you can see in the video above, the ISO 45 trumps all of them by a mile. The numbers present the close-range TTK of the weapon and the best one is the ISO 45 in the SMG list.
Talking about the gun itself, JGOD talked about how the devs could balance the weapons. “Rather than nerfing the ISO 45, we could see the other guns receiving a buff.” However, comparing ISO 45 with other weapons, he mentioned how the other weapons can match the ISO.
He mentioned that the MX9 needs a change in magazine size while the Lachmann should kill one less bullet. Although he did mention that the Vaznev-9K is still a viable pick in the meta.
Following that, he went on show meta loadouts for the SO-14, the TAQ-V, the Lachmann 556, and the ISO 45. Let us break down the attachments for the ISO 45 Loadout.
Attachments
- Optic: Cronen Mini Pro
- Stock: Demo Fade TAC Grip
- Magazine: 45-Round Mag
- Barrel: 9” PTX Trainer
- Muzzle: Spiral V3.5 Flash Hider
The first attachment JGOD uses is the Cronen Mini Pro because the iron sights of this weapon aren’t that great and harm the visibility and tracking. That is why, an Optic is the first attachment you should use. It is up to preference but the Cronen Mini is the most standard Optic every professional player uses in the game.
The Demo Fade TAC Grip is present to ensure that there is enough mobility for this SMG. It increases the aim walking speed and sprint speed of the weapon. Although JGOD emphasizes the importance of strafing and how the game’s movement would be better with it. Combine the Demo Fade Grip with the 45-Round Mag.
The 45-Round Mag is essential for SMGs as they require more bullets than other weapons to kill. However, equipping an extended magazine also ensures that you can kill multiple enemies without reloading. The next attachment is a barrel.
The 9” PTX Trainer Barrel is an important attachment that will help in increasing the damage range, bullet velocity, hip-fire accuracy, and the movement speed of the weapon. For the final attachment, we will use the Spiral V3.5 Flash Hider which hides the muzzle flash of the weapon thus aiding in maintaining stealth over range.
It also helps in maintaining a steady recoil over range.
Perks and Equipment
- Base Perk 1: Overkill
- Base Perk 2: Double Time
- Bonus Perk: Fast Hands
- Ultimate Perk: Ghost
- Tactical: Smoke Grenade
- Lethal: Grenade
The first perk we will use is Overkill which will let us use another Primary weapon. Consider equipping the Lachmann 556 or the MCPR-300 Sniper Rifle. This will ensure that you can get into long-range gunfights without worrying about missing shots. The next perk is Double Time. It will increase your movement speed and crouch movement speed by 30%.
The next bonus perk is the Fast Hands. Switching over to your short-range or long-range weapon depending on the situation is really important. Otherwise, you will get sent back to the lobby. Therefore, for the switching speed itself, this perk is a must-have for any class that has two primaries. Ghost is the final perk that has been a staple in Call of Duty games.
Ghost will help keep you off the radar so third parties do not interfere with your gunfights or snipe you out in the open. It goes well with the Flash Hider. For the tactical, we recommend the Smoke Grenade because it can help you get away from enemies. The good old Grenade is the most reliable explosive you can have on hand for any situation.
Why You Should Use This Loadout
This loadout is a “pure meta” one which will help you achieve the highest close-range TTK. You will immediately notice the difference between this weapon and the Lachmann Sub. The attachments benefit the strengths. There are only a few set weaknesses this weapon has and those ones are not that prevalent.
Combined with a Sniper or an AR, this weapon loadout will give you supremacy over all the ranges and keep you off the radar as well. This makes it one of the best ones to use. That is all you need to know about this ISO 45 Warzone 2.0 loadout. For more Warzone 2.0 content and guides, click here.
