The script was set. With a huge target to chase down, skipper Virat Kohli walked in with his team in big trouble. The stage was set for the master chase to take his country home again and wrap up the T20 series against the Kiwis.
But while Kohli batted splendidly, the rest of the team just did not contribute as India lost by a handsome margin. Kohli’s innings was not enough as he did not have any partner with whom he could put up a fruitful partnership.

After the match though, team India along with the support staff celebrated Kohli’s 29th birthday as the Indian skipper comes ever closer to the dreaded ‘number 30’.
