A couple of years back, Dhoni also said that he would like to serve in the army once he retires from Cricket. He also added that he wants to serve the country in every possible manner as it gives him pressure. “Why I got here is because of cricket. I would like to serve actively in the Army only after cricket. I don’t want my cricket to suffer because that is something I am good at. Once my cricket career is over, I would definitely like to serve in the Army,” Dhoni told journalists.
Dhoni regularly visits the army camps to increase his future knowledge about the army. A few years ago, He also completed his first para jump from 1250 feet from IAF. He became part of India’s elite force (106 Infantry Battalion TA Para) in 2014.
