The 11th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) is around the corner and the teams have started their preparations in full force.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) are coming back to participate after two years ban, which is another reason why the excitement levels among the fans is very high.

Dhoni has been the most successful captain of India, as under his leadership, India won all three ICC trophies. Dhoni also received the Padma Bhushan award, which is the third highest civilian award of India.

MS Dhoni will be seen leading the CSK’s side once again, with the legendary keeper expected to be a key player for CSK this season.

Under Dhoni’s leadership, CSK won the IPL title twice as well as being the only team to make it into playoffs in every season that they played. CSK has also won Fair Play award six times, while no other team has managed to win it even twice.

CSK has arguably the strongest fan base among all teams in IPL which was again proved when a huge crowd came to see their practice session.

There is no doubt that Dhoni is the most loved player in Chennai, with the fans of the franchise affectionately calling him “Thala”. Dhoni is also known for his signature shot “Helicopter Shot”, something that he has made his own.

Helicopter shot is a flick of the wrists with all the power generated from the bottom hand, and is commonly used by Mahi to send the ball into the stands.

The video went viral on social media in which Dhoni was seen hitting the helicopter shot. The bowler came in running and bowled a full-length delivery, to which Dhoni hit a helicopter shot over the midwicket region. The fans absolutely enjoyed the moment and went crazy.
