Mahendra Singh Dhoni has turned 36 years old. Time has really flown by, as we have seen the metamorphosis of Dhoni from a long haired hitter to the most successful captain in Indian cricket.

Now that he is playing only as wicket keeper batsman, Dhoni can concentrate solely on his game and leave the captaincy to Virat Kohli.

Several players, past and present who have played with Dhoni sent birthday wishes to Mahi through social media.

Some of the best ones came from his former team mates Yuvraj Singh, Virendar Sehwag and Irfan Pathan.

Dhoni’s wife and daughter were also present to see his birthday celebrations as the entire Indian team joined in to give the legendary player an almighty birthday party.
