“Well, it’s Easter, so we kinda can’t do sh*t”: xQc claims police couldn’t stop a man from breaking in his house because of Easter
Twitch streamer xQc recently told his audience that he got a notification on his home security app about someone trying to break into his house. During the live stream, he claimed that when he informed the authorities about it, they couldn’t do anything about it because it was Easter.
xQc enjoys huge popularity and is one of the bigger streamers on Twitch. During his Just Chatting streams, he tends to share a lot about his personal life. It was in one such stream that he shared the incident.
xQc claims a stranger tried breaking into his house
xQc told his chat that he was planning his stream when he received a notification on his home security app saying someone was trying to enter his home. He said:
“I look at my phone and I get alerts… like camera alerts and sh*t like that, and I look, and there’s just this guy, and it looks like he’s breaking in, dude… Into my house!”
He continued narrating what he saw:
“I was like, ‘Yo!’ The camera shows the dude pulling up, and he starts messing with the code thing. And then, he starts messing with the camera or whatever.”
He then explained that when he finally checked the cameras, he saw a man trying to enter his house. He said he promptly informed the police about it. However, the police weren’t able to help him because of Easter Sunday and there were not a lot of people at work.
“So then, I call the police, and it’s like a non-emergency type thing, right? I’m not even there, it’s like in the past, right? I’m getting alerts later.”
He continued:
“I go to the non-emergency line to make a report or whatever, and it’s like, ‘Well, it’s Easter, so we kinda can’t do sh*t. There’s nobody to take that sh*t.'”
Fans react to xQc’s house being broken into
While his audience was concerned about xQc’s house being broken into, they were more concerned about the police’s behavior around the whole situation.
One of the commenters sarcastically stated: “I’m glad the cops responded to it immediately, thanks LA cops.” The sarcasm was because the police refused to help X during the whole situation.

Another commenter said: “Imagine your house getting broken into and the cops tell you to make a reservation.”
Needless to say, the police’s behavior was something that the audience didn’t expect. However, it is a sigh of relief that the man did not break into X’s house.
