WI vs PAK Dream 11 Prediction: Best Dream11 team for today’s West Indies vs Pakistan Match 2 | TSR helps you with Dream 11 for CWC 2019.
In the 2nd match of the ICC Cricket World Cup, West Indies will be taking on Pakistan at Trent Bridge. Pakistan have lost 9 matches on the bounce and are reeling under pressure while the West Indies will be confident of ensuring a win courtesy some tremendously in-form players who took their score to over 400 in the warm-up against New Zealand.
WI vs PAK Dream 11 Prediction
Bowlers for WI vs PAK Dream 11
I have gone in with 3 bowlers here. I do not have many great options in this department. My first pick is Hasan Ali. He has been a constant in the Pakistan set-up for a couple of years now and he loves bowling in English conditions. He was also successful in the Champions Trophy in 2017. Let’s hope he can replicate that form here.
West Indies fast bowler Kemar Roach is my 2nd pick. Roach is an experienced pacer who has many tricks up his sleeve. He can deceive the batsmen with his slower ones and is generally, pretty economical. His experience will help both him and my team.
Now, I want to pick a 3rd bowler not worth more than 8 credits as I want to spend aggressively on the batsmen at display. I have 2 decent options in Ashley Nurse and Wahab Riaz. While Nurse will surely play the match, it remains to be seen how spin-friendly the track would be.
Riaz can be effective with his reverse swing if he is in the playing XI for this match. My suggestion would be to go for Riaz if he plays. Else, Nurse is your next best option.
All-rounders for WI vs PAK Dream 11
The muscle man in demand, Andre Russell walks into my team. He has been very destructive over the last couple of months in the IPL and also in the second warm-up match. He picks up regular wickets which makes him a huge asset for Windies. Bring him in and make him your vice captain!
Jason Holder has been showing signs of good form for some time now. He was always a brilliant bowler who squeezed out wickets in any situation. He also bowled some great death over. However, he has also worked on his batting and has become a fine middle order batsman who can score some big knocks quickly. I have to pick him for this match.
Pakistani spinner Shadab Khan is listed as an all-rounder. I get him in for this match. Khan can be efficient with his spin and has shown often what he is capable of. Shadab Khan can also tonk a few balls at the end which might give me some extra points as well.
Wicket-keepers for WI vs PAK Dream 11
— Cricket World Cup (@cricketworldcup) May 30, 2019
I have 3 options but I am picking only a solitary wicket-keeper for this match. Shai Hope is probably striking the ball the best he ever has. He is consistently getting the big scores.
He played some huge knocks in the tri-series involving Bangaldesh and Ireland and also, scored a brilliant century against New Zealand in the warm-up match. Hope gives me the perfect keeper who is in fine touch. Hope will also be my captain for this game simple on the basis of his form.
Batsmen for WI vs PAK Dream 11
The Pakistani trio of Fakhar Zaman, Imam ul Haq and Babar Azam has been batting extremely well so much so that many experts feel that Pakistan’s batting is stronger than their bowling now.
These 3 batsmen have played brilliant knocks in the series against England wherein each of them scored at least 1 big century. They play well together at the top of the order and would want to do the same in the World Cup. Their team has had a torrid run but these 3 batsmen have put in fantastic individual performances and frankly, that’s what matter in Dream11.
They are all in my team along with the Jamaican stalwart, Chris Gayle. You cannot and should not ignore Gayle with the kind of form he has displayed off late. If he’s not in your team and he gets going, then no other player can save your team.
