Wrestlemania 35 will be held at MetLife stadium New Jersey
With the “Road To Wrestlemania” officially beginning and Wrestlemania 34 nearing, the WWE have come up with a huge announcement regarding the venue of WrestleMania 35.
As per sources and the company, the mega event will be held at the MetLife stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey.
This is the same venue which held WrestleMania 29, which saw John Cena defeat the Rock to claim the WWE Championship in a historic rematch and the last victory in the streak for The Undertaker.
Eventhough, the date for the venue is still to be decided, April 7 is the date which is doing rounds at the moment. New Jersey emerged winners to host the event with Philadelphia and Detroit losing it out by a small margin.
The WWE’s trend to hosting the Mania at selected venues for a couple of years has been noticed, with Florida , New Orleans and now New Jersey getting to host the event in a short frame of time. The smaller states are snubbed at the moment to host the event it seems with WrestleMania 27 being the last in the form of Georgia Dome, Atlanta.
With the “Grandest Stage Of Them All” being held at the MetLife stadium, the iconic Madison Square Garden is on the look outs to host the Hall Of Fame ceremony, post-Mania RAW and SmackDown, and even perhaps a TakeOver event.
MetLife stadium is one of the largest stadiums of the United States Of America with the billion dollar project seating an astonishing capacity of around 83,000 people.
