Alexa Bliss dramatically transforms during match with Asuka to beat the RAW Women’s Champion

Alexa Bliss dramatically transforms during match with Asuka to beat the RAW Women’s Champion on the main event of tonight’s episode.

Alexa Bliss hasn’t laced her boots for a match in the WWE since November 2020. Her first fight since, was booked against Asuka, the reigning WWE RAW Women’s Champion. The match was scheduled to close out tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW.

It quickly became obvious that Bliss wasn’t ready for Asuka. The Empress of Tomorrow dominated with a flurry of strikes early on. It appeared that we were heading for a squash match and then it happened. Alexa Bliss underwent her own transformation.

Just before the WWE went to commercial, the lights began to flicker while some dissonant music played. Asuka looked distracted, Bliss however, appeared to be pleased with what was coming.

After the commercial, Bliss’s entire look and demeanour had changed.

She seemed like an entirely different person carrying herself with an invincible aura. Like the Fiend, she seemed to be unaffected by whatever was thrown at her. She even borrowed from the Fiend’s moveset and finished the RAW Women’s Champion with a Sister Abigail.

After the victory she reverted back to her cheerful naïve state.

What does this mean for the Women’s division on the Red Brand? Speculation was rife that Charlotte was primed to win the Championship from Asuka at Wrestlemania. With this new transformation however, Alexa Bliss seems to have turned herself into a Black Horse.

Conversely, the WWE could have Alexa stay away from the titles. If Wyatt’s title runs are anything to go by, his character works better when he has a score to settle rather than go after a title that ultimately means nothing to a revenge seeking monster.
