Cardi B will reportedly host WWE SummerSlam 2021

Cardi B will reportedly host WWE SummerSlam 2021. The Grammy winner’s song, will also be used as the official SummerSlam theme song.

The WWE played Cardi B’s “Up” during a commercial for SummerSlam during tonight’s episode of SmackDown. The Hype video by WWE all but confirmed that the Grammy Winner’s song would be the official theme song for the Summer’s biggest party.

That’s not all though. It seems that the WWE have plans for her to be more involved in the show. According to a Andrew Zarian, who has had way more hits than misses lately,  the WWE want the rapper to be the host at this year’s SummerSlam.

“I can confirm that I was told cardi b is the host for SummerSlam this year.”


WWE President  Nick Khan has previously spoken of his desire to bring in contemporary artists like Bad Bunny and Cardi B to WWE in order to entice a younger audience to watch their product.

Bad Bunny arrived, blew everyone’s mind at Wrestlemania and has since left with fans calling him arguably the greatest celebrity performer on the show.

Unlike Bad Bunny, who performed as a wrestler, Cardi B will be on the show as a host. Which means it is unlikely that she will wrestle. However, there may be an uxpected twist waiting for the fans. At this point, we can only wait and watch.

Cardi B was name dropped on an episode of RAW earlier this year. Fans later interacted with her and asked her about her opinions on some current wrestlers. After finding out what the segment she was namedropped in was about, the rapper jokingly warned Vince McMahon that she was coming after him.
