CM Punk Triple H

CM Punk hasn’t performed in the WWE ring since his infamous walkout in early 2014. As a matter of fact, The Straight Edge Superstar is currently signed with the rival promotion AEW. Unfortunately, he hasn’t performed there as well since being suspended after last year’s All Out pay-per-view. However, the former 5-time WWE World Champion was backstage during this week’s Monday Night RAW. CM Punk, as per reports, also met with Triple H and many other superstars.

This week’s edition of the red brand took place in Chicago, Illinois, the hometown of The Straight Edge Superstar. And according to reports, the suspended AEW superstar was backstage for a short period of time.

CM Punk briefly met Triple H and other WWE superstars but was then asked to leave

PWInsider, in its recent report, claimed the former WWE and current AEW star was backstage during the tapings of this week’s RAW. Although the reason for the visit is unknown, it was reported that he was there for a brief period.

Moreover, it was noted that CM Punk had a short meeting with WWE’s Creative Head Triple H. He reportedly also met with a few other superstars but was eventually asked to leave. PWInsider also stated that it was Vince McMahon who made the call.

As to why he was asked to leave the arena, sources revealed that it was because he is still signed with AEW. Besides, there is no detail regarding the short chat CM Punk had with Triple H.

Well, CM Punk meeting Triple H might light rumors of his WWE return, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. According to various talents, his visit was shocking. However, they believe it was a publicity stunt by The Straight Edge Superstar for his AEW return.

The suspended AEW superstar is rumored to have a meeting with Tony Khan and others for his in-ring return

Earlier this month, news broke out that AEW management and CM Punk will have a meeting soon to debate the latter’s return. It was noted that Tony Khan, Chris Jericho, and FTR are also going to be present.

However, as of yet, the said get-together had taken place between the two parties. Moreover, many AEW talents reportedly are not very optimistic about the outcome.

Nevertheless, CM Punk, according to some, today spoke to Triple H after almost nine years. Fans can assume that more talks in the future are possible. Who knows, if things don’t go well with AEW, The Straight Edged Superstar can negotiate a deal with WWE.
