CM Punk claims Pat McAfee is a better promo than everyone else on NXT! He went on to say that everyone on the show should be embarrassed by that fact.
CM Punk is one of the best guys the WWE have ever had on the mic. He had the ability to tell a story and sell it to the audience like not many others did. The fact that he’s still one of the biggest names in wrestling despite not having a match since 2014 tells you just how fascinated the fan base was/is with him.

The former WWE Champion himself however, seems to be fascinated by former NFL Punter Pat McAfee. McAfee has been with the WWE for sometime now in a multimedia role. This year however, he stepped inside the ring with Adam Cole in a highly acclaimed match.
McAfee wasn’t immediately a 5-star wrestler on his first night but he had his body language right and told a story inside the ring when everyone expected him to crash and burn. He has since featured heavily on the show and has taken the world by surprise with how natural he is on the mic.
CM Punk claims Pat McAfee is a better promo than everyone else on NXT!
Punk is one of the many who have been blown away by McAfee. In fact, he believes that the former punter is the best person on mic in the entire brand. Punk even suggested that the locker should be embarrassed by that fact. However, he added that it was down to circumstances.
A lot of it has to do with circumstance, but everyone else on the show(s) should feel embarrassment, and subsequently USE said feeling to better themselves, at the fact that @PatMcAfeeShow is a better promo than everyone on the show(s).

What circumstances you ask? According to Punk, it is the WWE who is at fault for conditioning its stars to cut promos in a specific manner and tone.
Correct. Like I said…circumstances.

As far as McAfee’s ceiling in wrestling or his commitment to the business goes, Punk believes, he is already the best thing on NXT just behind Rhea Ripley. Those are some huge words for both the names mentioned.
There’s zero reason for him to fully commit to wrestling. He’s already the best thing on this show not named @RheaRipley_WWE

McAfee is booked against Undisputed Era at the upcoming NXT TakeOver: WarGames event this Sunday. He will lead a side featuring Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan, and Danny Burch.
