Charlotte Flair says WWE can do without Ronda Rousey

Charlotte Flair says the WWE can do without former UFC and RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey. Rousey hasn’t appeared on WWE TV since Wrestlemania 2019.

Charlotte Flair is the WWE’s most decorated female wrestler. She has been at the forefront of the Women’s division alongside a new generation of talent. Together, they have elevated the women’s division to a level where they are now seen as equals to the men and sometimes even more!

Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Asuka, Alexa Bliss, there are several top acts in the Women’s division and this isn’t even counting the scary talent WWE have at NXT! So much so that Flair believes there is no need for Ronda Rousey to return to the WWE.

Charlotte Flair says WWE can do without Ronda Rousey

According to Talk Sport’s Alex McCarthy, Charlotte Flair was recently asked about the former UFC and WWE RAW Women’s champion. The Queen had a very short answer but got straight to the point regarding what her thoughts were about the Baddest Woman On The Planet.

“Can Ronda Rousey add to the division? Absolutely. Do we need her? No.” Charlotte Flair said.

Now we don’t know the complete context behind the statement. This could be proof of her faith in the Women’s division and their ability to excel or maybe she’s setting up a future feud, Wrestlemania season is nearby after all.

A very unlikely third scenario is that Charlotte Flair decided to shoot on Rousey.

The two have faced each other twice in the WWE. Once at Survivor Series when Flair replaced an injured Becky Lynch and the second time at Wrestlemania. It was long rumored that the WWE wanted a main event match between the two. However, Lynch suddenly shot herself into popularity and forced the WWE to change their direction.

The three women main evented Wrestlemania 2019, the first group of women to do so. Rousey would make no more appearances on the WWE after. Becky would begin her historic run with the RAW Women’s championship while Flair added a few more runs to her title collection.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
