Previous winners include current NXT Champion Finn Balor and the number one contender Kyle O’Reilly. Balor won it alongside Samoa Joe while O’Reilly did it with the Undisputed Era. Th previous winners of the tournament were Riddle and Pete Dunne who also went on to dethrone the Undisputed Era to become the tag team champions.
