Moxley has since grown. It does not feel like he may have needed much help to get to where he is right now. Turns out however, that there was help offered in case it were needed. That offer came from none other than Triple H. Renee Paquette, his wife, made the revelation on her Oral Sessions podcast.

“Even when Jon left, there were times when Hunter would pull me aside because Jon was injured coming back from NJPW, and Hunter kept checking in to make sure he was okay and if we needed anything, they would have been able to help him in any capacity. It was nice to know the olive branch was still extended and it wasn’t that heat-seeking thing that everyone thinks it is. We’ve all spent so much time together and nothing bad went down.”

Moxley went on to become the AEW Champion and steered the promotion through murky waters during the pandemic. He eventually lost the title to Kenny Omega last year at Winter is Coming  He is currently away following the birth of his first child Nora on June 15 2021.

Archie is a WWE and UFC Editor/Author at the SportsRush. Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
